Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the mobile game Elevator Madness (the “game”) and this website use, and what choices you have. The game is made by SkyWeb (“we”). You can reach us at support@elevatormadness.com.
In short
- We do not ask for your name, email or any account. The game has no sign-up.
- Your progress and settings are stored only on your device.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device data to show and measure ads, as described below.
- Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time.
1. Data stored on your device
The game saves your stars, best times, settings (sound, music, vibration), your daily challenge streak and which update notes you have already seen in a file on your device. The daily challenge is created on your device from the date; nothing is downloaded for it. This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the game deletes it; you can also erase your stars, settings and streak in the game under Settings → Reset.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and is supported by ads: a full-screen ad may appear between shifts, and you can choose to watch an ad for “one more chance” after losing a shift. Ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC, or Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland).
To deliver, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process data such as:
- device identifiers, including the advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS) where available and permitted;
- IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
- interactions with ads (views, clicks) and diagnostic data.
We do not receive this data in a form that identifies you. Google handles it under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Consent and your choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: before ads are loaded, the game shows a consent message provided by Google. You can accept or decline personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy settings.
- iPhone and iPad: the game asks for permission to track (App Tracking Transparency) only if needed for personalized ads. If you do not allow it, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized using the IDFA. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path depends on the device).
Declining personalization does not remove ads; it means the ads you see are not based on your interests.
3. No analytics, no purchases, no accounts
The game does not use analytics services, does not offer in-app purchases and does not create user accounts. If this changes in a future version, we will update this policy first.
4. Children
The game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will help.
5. This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse (Cloudflare Privacy Policy).
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because we do not store personal data about you, requests about advertising data are best directed to Google through the links above, but you are always welcome to contact us and we will help where we can.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date.
